Fun quiz night with Grevenmacher commune<\/h4>\n

Demand will be high to be one of the 33 six-person teams competing on 12th November at the cultural centre Machera<\/h6>\n

Enjoy a night of teamwork and testing your knowledge with friends, family, neighbours and fellow club members. As well as being great fun, this is an opportunity to meet new people from different cultures.<\/p>\n

Residents of Grevenmacher should mark 12th<\/sup> November in their diaries as the date for this enjoyable, sociable quiz evening. Your team\u2019s knowledge will be tested with 60 questions in categories including local and global current affairs, sport, culture, celebrities, history, TV and cinema. There will also be a round on facts about Grevenmacher. The evening will be hosted by Klot Kieffer, Luxembourg\u2019s celebrated \u201cQuiz mam Klot\u201d quizmaster. However, win or lose, taking part and testing your knowledge is always good fun.<\/p>\n

A recipe for success<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quiz evenings have become an established part of the local events calendar across the country. To ensure this event will be inclusive, Grevenmacher commune will run this quiz in three languages: Luxembourgish, French and English with the support of Luxemburger Wort, Virgule, Contacto and Luxembourg Times. In total, you should expect the event to last about three hours, including breaks. Participation is completely free of charge, as are the drinks and canap\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Demand will be high. Registration normally exceeds availability, in which case the commune will hold a draw to select the 33 teams, who will be notified in writing. Preference will be given to teams of Grevenmacher residents. Each six-person team should pick a captain who will register.<\/p>\n
