In the first part of the evening, Andreas Kieling takes us to the far north of the American continent. As a wildlife filmmaker and adventurer, he spent three years following the tracks of polar bears, grizzlies, moose, musk oxen, caribou and Dall sheep. A life among wolves. Whether it\u2019s polar bear battles, the mating season of the Alaskan moose, the fierce confrontations of musk oxen, or the calmer daily life with grizzly bears, there are countless breathtaking and extraordinary stories to tell.
The films are masterpieces of wildlife cinematography. They recount thrilling adventures, some of which were filmed for the very first time. What makes these films particularly special is that Andreas Kieling repeatedly films himself with a small camera, documenting his life alongside the great animals of the North.<\/p>\n
After a break of about 30 minutes, Andreas brings us back to Europe. Europe\u2019s wildlife also holds many fascinating stories. From small to large, from the mole to the capercaillie and up to the big predators. Territorial battles between hares and wild boar. Bears, deer, wildcats. Lynx. Wolves. Even though many animals roam our gardens and parks at night, this does not mean that filming or photographing them is easy. Some scenes took Andreas Kieling four or five years to capture. The presentation tells stories of both small and large animals, of those that never disappeared and of those that have returned.<\/p>\n
The Fotoclub Flash Grevenmacher was founded on April 20, 1976 by dedicated photography enthusiasts and will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026. The club brings together photography enthusiasts, organizes monthly meetings, occasional workshops and regular exhibitions. For half a century, it has been a firmly established part of the cultural life of Grevenmacher.<\/p>\n
