Galakonzert „Classic meets Rock“ – Harmonie Municipale Grevenmacher
Die Stadtmusik Grevenmacher lädt herzlich zu ihrem diesjährigen Galakonzert unter dem Motto „Classic meets Rock“ ein. Zu Beginn präsentiert die Jugendmusik Noutewënzer ein musikalisches Einstiegsprogramm, bevor die HMG – Stadtmusik Grevenmacher die Bühne übernimmt.
Im ersten Konzertteil erklingen klassische Werke und eindrucksvolle Blasmusik – dirigiert von Stefan Weber. In der zweiten Hälfte sorgt eine hinzukommende Comboband für eine mitreißende, pop-rockige Atmosphäre.
Als Solist des Abends begeistert der bekannte Sänger Serge Schonckert.
The Simon & Garfunkel Revival Band
Their program features the most beautiful songs of the iconic duo — their greatest, timeless hits. Dreamy, passionate ballads like “Scarborough Fair” and “Bright Eyes,” classics such as “Mrs. Robinson,” “The Boxer,” or “The Sound Of Silence” are just as much a part of the repertoire as the lively “Cecilia” or “El Condor Pasa.” The setlist also includes a few gems from the time after the duo’s split, when Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel each enjoyed successful solo careers.

Founded in 1978, the OPUS 78 Big Band thrills audiences with its blend of swing, jazz, pop, and funk. With a classic big band line-up and a variety of guest artists (singers, choir, symphonic ensemble), the band has performed with international stars such as Candy Dulfer, Jon Lord, Maynard Ferguson, and the WDR Big Band.
Felice Civitareale, a Luxembourgish trumpeter and flugelhorn player, is renowned for his captivating solos and charismatic stage presence. He has performed with Boney M, Lou Bega, and contributed to film scores such as Der Schuh des Manitu.

The children’s novel by the German-Czech author Otfried Preußler tells the story of two brave boys, Kasperl and Seppel, who, after many adventures, manage to capture the wicked robber Hotzenplotz, who had stolen Kasperl’s grandmother’s coffee grinder. This is a puppet show by the Harzer Puppenbühne and marks its premiere in Luxembourg, suitable for children aged 5 and up.
