Billy Joel Experience

Led by the multi-talented pianist, keyboardist, singer and entertainer Alexander Broussard, the band has developed over the years into a hallmark of first-class live performances. Alexander, who began his career with an impressive background in renowned international piano bars and went on to accompany some of the biggest names in the Dutch theatre world, is an artist who brings the stage to life with his passion and skill.

Since deciding in 2017 to pay tribute to the work of Billy Joel, “The Billy Joel Experience” has embarked on an impressive journey. With five singles and a double live album of original material, they have not only won the hearts of their fans, but also attracted the attention of radio stations at home and abroad.

A highlight of their journey was undoubtedly the official recognition by Richie Cannata, the original saxophonist on Billy Joel’s masterpieces. In January 2023, Cannata flew especially to the Netherlands to perform a memorable concert in a sold-out theatre together with Alexander Broussard and his team. This recognition from one of the greats of the industry has given “The Billy Joel Experience” an unparalleled shine.

Tickets for this event can also be purchased at the box office in the Machera Cultural Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 PM to 7 PM. The evening box office opens 2 hours before the event.
